Gecko Campground

Gecko Campground is the largest campground in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area, located near Glamis and Holtville, Imperial County,,California, approximately 23 miles east of Brawley. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), it is a prime destination for off-highway vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts, offering direct access to the expansive sand dunes that stretch across a 40-mile by 5-mile area, with some dunes reaching heights of up to 300 feet.
